Does anyone know where a guy can buy the backing/board that goes behind door panels and on the rear deck?
Parker and I are putting a rear defog in the 67 and that rear deck panel is in tough shape. If we could buy some of that bulk board we could make a new one. A lot of the interior is sun-baked Arizona material from 1967 still, so it doesn't have to look perfect.

You should be able to get a reproduction package tray but it may be difficult to get just the cardboard for the door panels. Check with NOS maybe they can help. I know that SMS has it so should any supplier that makes door panels.

do you mean the rear window package tray. Our part# 77766XP09 / $26.60 . The door panel backing board is available but it's very exspensive because it is oversize for shipping cost. If you want a quote on it let me know.
Sorry, yes, rear parcel tray is what I am talking about. For now we are not looking for repro stuff (thanks Dale, you'll be hearing from us when the time does come though!) but rather just something to tidy up the interior a bit. We're leaving the sun-parched interior look in the car and focusing on getting it roadworthy for next year hopefully. It will basically look like it did when it last saw the road in 1979.

OK, yes jacksons will have the waterresistant, black cardboard for making package shelves. I have made many of my own, with excellent results. Vinyl dye to match.
If you need to sew on the vinyl strip on the edge, let me know, i have done it before with my uphoulstry machine.
i made this one from scratch and dyed it
