My '81 Z was pretty much loaded. tilt, no cruise, windows, locks, am/fm/cassette, ribbon interior, "T" roofs, aluminum wheels, etc..350, T-10 4 speed and 3:08 posi. Your Bird looks really comfortable inside. The Ponchos always had nicer interiors, though. I just could never get comfy in the drivers seat of mine. My Lemans is way better for comfort. The strato buckets are great. Pretty rare to find the "8 track" still intact. My '69 Caprice came with an under dash 4 speaker 8 track player. It was long gone when I got it. Too bad....I saw one at a swap for $800!!!.

It may have been a good 'ol US car built in the U.S., but us Canucks exclusively got the 350 with the 4-speed in 1980 / 81. In the U.S. they only got the 305 with the manual....
BTW the 8-track console is presumed to be shared between the Camaro & Firebird. That is only partly correct. On the 2nd generation Camaros they only started to share the 'Bird console in 1973, and the factory 8-track was reintroduced for 1975. Of course they fit the earlier 2nd Gen Camaros, but stereos were abscent from the Camaro between 1970 through 1973. The AM / FM stereo returned for 1974 and the 8-track for 1975.
