i am upgrading my 64 punch with a hei distributor, and a one wire alternator. so i am wondering what gauge wire i need to use. should i use 12gu.

I dont advise any wire smaller than 12 ga

so 12 will be fine, or should i go with 10gu. i have 12 but if i have to i will buy 10 but would like to not spend the money
