I like those colour coded wheel covers. I remember a 70 Caprice that our grade 4 teacher had that was blue with the matching covers. Yes, I remember the cars my teachers had..

This is where a "project should be priced"

  Many others would ASK $12,500.00

I still remember the cars some of my teachers had.  The best probably was a brand new 82 Camaro Z28, red, t tops.

Lots of car for the money. I wonder how recent those pic's are? 400 small block is a nice bonus.

No big block 402 in B Bodies in 70, that's a fact. At 265 HP with a 2bbl and single exhaust those 400 small blocks were misleading. They packed 400 lb ft of torque.

Hillar's '70 2+2 was modified with a 4 bbl on an L48 intake and duals and that sucker pulled like a big block.  Less than 300 LF6 400's were offered by Pontiac in 1970, Chevy's might be a few more but not many.

Agree with Ray. I drove a 70 Impala with a 400 small block. It would break the tires loose at will - lots of torque.

I checked this car out this morning. This car is a steal.... All original ,and worth every penny. I would have bought it this morning , but I just can not handle another 69 B Body at this time . ( the "BOSS" said no more, and I can't blame her)

Trunk braces will need attention. The bottom of the rear 1/4's and front fenders have a little rot ,(not much) but very workable . Over all great shape with newer exhaust & tires. Great chrome & glass. Interior is in exceptional shape with the exception of the drivers side , which is staring to get thread bare.

Currently driven only summers.  Will not take much to safety .

options: AM/FM, comfortron A/C , disc brakes , PW, P seats , tinted glass . The 400 engine has a 4bbl on it ( I assume put on after ) , Tinted glass  etc...

Started up nicely , smooth idling quiet engine

Next person that goes to see it in person , will likely buy it..... its that nice

Can we assume it has dual exhaust as well. ? If so considering the 4bbl this engine would be around 335 HP with about 500 lb ft.

Cool, way to go Howard. Thanks for saving a bunch of us the agony of going to see it!!!

Mind if I stop in some time on the way by to check it out? I'm not sure I've been across that new bridge yet anyway...
