I want to see it to make sure it's all good, i emailed to see when the guy might be around this weekend. I'd like to have a second experienced set of eyes, might anyone be interested.

it appears rough but workable-guess it depends what you want to get into
Just looking for driver with not a lot of body work needed. At least not needing floor, trunk, frame work. Mechanically sound. I don't care if the interior is rough, can fix seats up later. I want to work on it but just maintain it mechanically and not have to do a lot of fix work to get it on the road. Seems this car fits but i want to make sure and could use someone with a more knowledgeable eye who might be able to spot major troubles i don't see. I know when i bought the Trans Am i should have done the same. But been there, done that, don't want to do it again.
I think that if the frame, floor and body are good(which seem to be in pics) and runs and if you can get it for $1500-$2000 that all the little things that it might need you can work away on at a very respectable budget. This would be a great car for you Randy, And with it being a moredoor even better for you and you family. Don't listen to peoples feelings about moredoors that their a wastse of money. Older cars are getting harder and harder to find all the time. Even more so for our Canadian favourites. I drove that 4dr Acadian for 2 summers and had a blast and got tons of compliments. Guys at car shows would walk right past the 2dr nova and chevy II cause their dime a dozen. whens the last time you seen a real nice 4dr. So with all that blabber i just did, Come on let's go get that car. You know Beaumonts are really the only cars that matter, lol
Randy, if the frame and floors are not rusted out it's a decent buy. Everything else is affordable to replace, some of it is downright cheap. Take a magnet and check for bondo in the lower body parts. Get under it and check the frame with a flashlight and tap with a light hammer for soft spots. it would make a fun summer cruiser for not a lot of bucks. As Brian said he enjoyed the 63 Acadian 4 door and it was a hit at shows. It was the same with me.
FYI I sold the moredoor chevelle in my avitar for $1700 without effort and it was not as clean as this car. Dont forget it is a Beaumont and that is worth twice as much IMHO.
I know i was going to take cash...didn't tell him that though, i like to see something before saying i'll buy. I can't afford to slap down cash without looking it over first. But we'll see what happens, i'm not getting my hopes up though.

I agree gotta look at it first -you might be surprised-rarely is a car as good as the seller tells you, there are a ton of cars out there and you're at a delicate time in your life
