I have an A body hood for sale. Call it NACA, call it NASA, call it whatever you want. There is much debate on it!
The hood is nice and solid. There is some areas with the paint missing and of course surface rust but the metal is solid. I can try to get some pics on here later. I don't know a lot about them but I know some have the vents at the back, some don't. This one has no vents.
I would like to get $350 for it.
I bought this hood many years ago for a friend who lives far away. Unfortunately, he has never come through on this deal for me and it's time to wipe the slate clean and start fresh!

I am very disappointed Carl, You been holding out on that one. Sounds like a 75 hood which seemed to be the most plentiful. Your price is good. Maybe Pascal will come and get it.
I never said anything because I had hopes my friend from the deep south would come through for me. Another year has passed and it's time to get on with this whole deal. I've had to move this thing to high ground 3 times to keep it from flooding and I said in the spring of 2011 that I would not do that again!
I'll get some pics of it up later today.

Thats a big hood, I once transported one on the roof of my Suburban and it is actually wider than the Truck ! Getting it to Toronto is the only thing stopping me at this point from saying Yes.
I'll take it Carl as it is in better shape than mine ! Consider it sold ! Now I have to figure out a way to get it home, I wonder if it would fit in the box of my S15 GMC SONOMA (6 feet box) ? The plates runs out the 10th of Jan as well ???
Good luck on fitting it in the Sonoma, as I posted above the hood is wider than my Suburban. I had one tied to the roof rack and it was overhanging on both sides. You should be able to angle it with some overhang on one side. Better tie it down good.

Thank you very much Carl ! ... and everyone else for the tips, I can't wait to pick it up tomorrow, visiting Carl and parts getting country drive are always good.
The hood made it home safe, it was nice to see Carl and what a beautiful sunny day ie. +5 degrees, for a country drive. The hood fitted real good in my little GMC truck I really like Carl's 66 Grande Parisienne, now I have to persuade him to take me for a drive once he's got the 4 speed installed in it ...
