I'M PRETTY SURE THE GM PAPERWORK FROM THE CAR ABOVE NOTED THE TRI-POWER OPTION AS AVALIBLE FOR 1960. THIS CAR WAS JUST A 4BBL.

Yes I think there is a misundersatnding. 1959 thru 61 348 was avilable with 4bbl and tri power. 1962 the 327 300 HP was the top power option. 1963 thrus 1965 the 409 was available. 1962 first year for floor shift 4 speed.
My post said no big block in 1962 and Carl mention something about 348's which I don't undestand.
