Try Mackie Auto Transport in Oshawa. Hillar used them to move the green/gold 2+2 from Calgary to Toronto, and I used them to bring the 454 Laurentian from Oshawa (I dropped it at their shop) to Calgary. Enclosed car carrier that holds 6 cars. They washed the car and dropped it at my door.

Yes it was running, they will pick up right at the door and deliver to your door. They will pick up not running as well as long as there is someone to assist with load.

I used Mackie as well (I'm pretty sure it was them) from calgary to Vancouver.. My car was the only car on the trip.. enclosed, decent price, safe and sound, good insurance coverage.

Mackie hauled my 73 Camaro from Toronto to St. John's (2010); my 68 Caprice from Calgary to St. John's (2005); and most recently my Mercedes C63 AMG from Montreal to St. John's. Prices were reasonable for the long distances involved.

Over the long distances Mackie uses a number of modes. One of my cars came by rail, boat and truck. One thing to watch out for: I had minor damage on 2 of the 3 hauls but they did look after it.
