Beautiful 1961 Pontiac Strato Chief (sister to Laurentien). Daily driver, 79000 original miles. Original 261 straight 6 with 2-speed power glide automatic transmission. Mostly original car, except interior front seat, bench was removed and replaced with two standard seats. Exterior is black with all original chrome in excellent shape as it is a western car. Needs some minor tlc, but given the age is in great shape. I'm asking $5500.00 firm, serious inquiries only. Not interested in trades. This is a rare car, we have only seen one other in drivable condition.
Nice is a better description, "RARE" no!!!! Just because they haven't seen another driving local, doesn't make it RARE!! Looks fair in pic. left side a little "wavey" or "friendly " as we used to say. Not bad in the price dept. but will have to see what happens, not much moving,see the same adds on KIJIJI being bumps up many times!!!

'64 Parisienne CS "barn find" - last on the road in '86 ... Owner Protection Plan booklet, original paint, original near-mint aqua interior, original aqua GM floor mats, original 283, factory posi, and original rust.
It is overpriced in today's (& yesterday's) market, but without a price it; a) could not be posted here; b) you have a line drawn in the sand for negotiating. Or a chasm to cross in this case.
Waves will take dedication to fix right, but hey, the car is from the Great White North and is 51 years old after all.
I'd personally leave the 261, but for an easy swap the cast iron Powerglide could give way to a lighter & more efficient short tailhousing TH350. An automatic o.d. might be a problem to fit within the confines of that rigid X frame
