It would be a good discussion, I believe that Ford guys call a 352 a big Block and a 351 a small block. I think that generally speaking when the term Big Block is used people understand Chevy. I have no idea about Chryslers but I heard 440's called big blocks.
I'm just curious Ray, what would you appraise your cars value at?
$2,500 - $3,500.
I live in Toronto 10 minutes from Yonge & Bloor.
I'm making a late New Year Resolution. No more comments about cars posted for sale. It is always a good conversation starter but inevitably someone's feeling get hurt. I think too much of all you guys so this is the end.

It makes for good conversation,, prices are somewhat regional , so it is interesting to see, AND listen !

Yeah, I am not very Ford savvy but I think the 352 is like a 390 which is like 428 and 460 so that would make sense.
However, I think there's 2 different 351's..............
Lots to learn!
True on all counts. the 352 was an FE series engine like the 390 and 428, etc. The 351 was a smal block in 2 forms - 351W and 351C, whihc I beleive denoted where they were built. what i'm not Ford savvy enough to know is what was the difference in the 2 351 engines.
It's not totally rust free, rear wheel wells are starting but I shall have that fixed ASAP. Excluding that, its rust free. Interior is still in very good condition, few cracks in the dash, 1 rip in seat (pass. side) It does have the 140Mph Speedo which im pleased about. Rest easy "Rat Boy" I'll be removing the stripe soon enough.
Figured I would join up to give you all a bit of closure on this one, just stumbled upon you all talking about it after I made the purchase.
