Hey Justin, is the stripe a sticker or painted on? Nice car ... good buy!

Stripe is indeed a sticker, i will probably be repainting the car without the stripe and possibly without the vinyl roof either (Opinions?) when i fix up the few rust spots i have found. Part of the clearcoat is coming off on the hood as well.
Sorry, i didn't inspect the truck as i was there only for the car.
While a vinyl roof was not standard equipment on a Luxury LeMans certainly a vast majority of them came with this option because it is a defining characteristic of the image of the car.
My Rat Boy comments with this car were that it was trying to be something it is not, just not in keeping with the Luxury LeMans image and profile.
Personally I am a fan of the vinyl roof and colour combination. Why not get the GM Historical Services documents and see how it left the factory and that may provide guideance.
And 421, 428 and 455 Pontiac engines are considered "big blocks"!
Your right all American Pontiac blocks.. 326, 350,400,421,428,455 are considered "Big Blocks" . But usually when someone says Big Block in the Muscle Car world its the BB Chevy.... because Chevy made a small block and Pontiac never did.
