NOS right side brake shields for sale GM # 344024

I thought you guys could take a joke!   Yikes!  I  guess I better stay out of pretty much all the GM parts departments for a while!

Re hoarders I guess I'd refer you to my last post on the 69 396 chevy pickup on the craigslist thread...

"I'm going to work on my shipping crate now Carl", he said humbly.

I was cleaning up at work today and found a couple of disc brake splash shields. I ordered these for a customer a couple of years ago when we still had the GM franchise. These are now discontinued, no longer available from GM. These fit right side only.

So far, I have found they fit-

71-76 Chev B body  (Impala Caprice)

73-77 Pontiac Chev A body (Lemans Chevelle)

70-81 Pontiac Chev F body (Firebird Camaro)

I believe these shields priced out at about $35 each Canadian. Considering they are now discontinued and I was unable to find anyone on the 'net with any for sale, I am thinking they are still worth $35 each, so let's set the price there. Shipping to anywhere in Canada will be for actual shipping cost. You can buy one or both, whatever you like.

Carl you should post those on the Nasty Z28 site, they would probably go in a minute. I happen to have a set of those NOS for my Z too.

I already have a PM claiming them Elroy, but thanks. I am sure you are right, a lot of this stuff would likely do better elsewhere. The problem with that is, I want it to be a 2 way street. I'm just trying to keep up with all the help/deals etc. that has been pouring my way from this site!

OK the real question  is why the guy would have ordered two for the right side of  his car and none for the left (or is there another story here?)

Lefts were already discontinued and this guy who ordered them is a SERIOUS hoarder, to say the least.

He built a brand new house with a triple garage. Then he added about a 30' square double garage out behind. He has never been able to park his daily vehicles inside, from day one. Both buildings are jammed full of cars and parts, and I mean jammed. One garage has a 38,000 mile 67 Vette 427 4 speed that you can't even see. It's been parked for about 25 years because the clutch is poor. I could go on and on about the piles of junk. Amazing.

Anyway, he never came for these shields and he has done this to me plenty of times before. I could hound him to come for them and eventually he likely would but I get tired of having to do that with him.

ya these guys are out there. Would love to see cars like that Vette on the road ! Funny though, Gerry found me the left hand shield in Quebec somewhere, it was the last one anywhere. Now I'm not sure I will use them as I'm going Wilwood brakes , no shields.
