Oh yes.... Mrs. Rat Boy will like air conditioning and the car will rekindle fond memories from early years of marriage and Rat Boy will recall how third child forced the sale of beloved SS.
I think most folks are just trying to cover the necessities and can't afford a toy.
I agree-its amazing how fast the attitude has changed
I think you are correct The slow market is gone Just no market at all (unless prices adjusted) I e-mailed the low-baller (9000) and offered it to him for 10,000 but he bought a nice 86 with only one re-paint and 130,00 km for 8500.00?
I've had 3 people (2 members) pass up on 67 Beaumont for 10g
NO market No jobs No money I think though, that if I hang on to spring I can get 15-18 for the pair

I have a fellow coming tomorrow at 2:30 and a fellow in N.S. wanting to talk about it tonight, and a 3rd party trying to get here next week from Michigan
maybe they "woke up" to that fact its a 24 year old "new" car...and built on the last day of RWD production EVER
Carl. stick to your guns. Like Darryl says, if we bring this baby to Toronto when the weather clears I am sure it could sell for your original asking price. People have to see it to understand
One of the largest collectors of GTO's in Ontario is a Chicken Farmer, very lucrative business.
I am glad you found a buyer. When I was young I owned a brand new 1986 Monte Carlo SS and I had no choice but to drive it in winter, I was 29 and worked my guts out as an accounting supervisor, I think I made about $30,000 so that was way before I had enough money to have 5 cars on the road.
I bought Goodyear Eagle snow tires and put them on Z/28 rims I had, car sucked wouldn't go in the snow so I got two blue boxes and filled then with house bricks and put them on each side of the trunk, car sucked, it wouldn't go in the snow, so I bought P215/75/15 Goodyear knobby snows and put them on Rally II wheels, got front skinnies to match and car sucked wouldn't go in the snow so I got a third blue box and filled it with salt because I was getting stuck so much.

Local farmers son, saw it was a local car (Kijiji) Came over with his Dad Son has new 2012 Cummings diesel truck... but didn't want to drive it in winter. Wanted a rear drive car, for going back and forth between farms (chickens) His dad pulled out 10 grand in cash I jumped at it, and I counted the cash... Signed her over...
They were heading to local tire shop for snow tires.... He figures he will put 40-50,000 km on it each winter... I told him to get it oiled... By the smell on their clothes and boots, he better get it scotch guarded...
I gave him some "like new" mud flaps for it
Glad to get it gone.... Now I can get to selling Beaumont !! and 2500HD

Oh Carl. Are you joking that it will become a winter beater? Some people have too much money.
