Mine was delivered on November 10, 1985, snowed the next day. We live in Canada......Snow happens.

I drove mine for 7 winters, only sold it to get a 4dr. The car was in great shape when I let is go, this one will be fine for a number of years yet.

Congrats, however it's sad to hear the car will be destroyed. Ah well. C'est la vie.

It will make a great Clinton, chicken-ranch, shine-runner (we use older cars with bigger trunks here). The new owner should drive it like he stole it, and after a year of abuse, it will make a great derby car (with some rear frame mods).wink

I posted car week before last in London Kijiji   for $13,900.00

I got a e-mail from a fellow from my past (tire shop customer)  He asked if he could see car on Sunday   He arrived at  2:30 with his mechanic son and detail shop son  smile I moved car out  (thank goodness for nice weather) and they seemed impressed

The father (my age ) was looking for Hobby car  Doesn't know mechanical    They left and he e-mailed me and offered 13,000    I said sure..  He came yeaterday and I gave him original exhaust and tires and signed off ownership  (no money) hmm

He took car to Exeter Ont to HMP GM shop   I sent a cheque to pay for appraisal and safety   Exeter north does not need e- test

He was just here with car...  had the safety and gave me cheque(s) and went up town to get new plates  Was taking it to storage place he arranged   He loved the car  !!!

GM employees were taking photos of it on hoist...  He was delayed with money ,cause he borrowed enough to build a garagewink

He manages a Hensall Co-op mill in Zurich (home of Bean Feast car show in August)  I was pleased to get most of my money back

I was smelling the economy  lol

Steve also has friend(s) asking about Beaumont

Sure helps  I can pay off the money I used to pay son in laws child support  Going to court in Aug   need to raise another 10g to tide us over til then

In the old West my son in law would be in Boot Hll

I'm confused. Did you sell the Monte to the chicken farmer or were you pulling our leg - but now it's been sold to the tire shop customer?

Do you have a link to details on the 67 Beaumont?

Wes

Would a LEGEND  tell you a story???     YES He would winkwinkwink

I thought the drive it all winter with snow tires was a hoot....

Actually...  I was pleased to sell it to a new Car guy...

but as it was suggested....You have to smell the market!!

I would not care, if he sold it, to Canadas Worst driver program...

If i confused you...  I am sorry...

Not a problem - I see the humor but it can be difficult to tell when someone is joking or actually serious in emails, text messages and posts.
