"This 1971 GTO has been sitting in this shed since 1985. I was able to buy it from the owner and resurrect it from the grave. It's a low mileage car with factory tach and hurst 4-speed shifter."

I see what you mean Mark. There's not even a thin layer of dust to be seen on the goat, unlike your car Roger. The windshield is spotless also.
Ahhhh... Thanks for the insight... I do agree with you now!! Good eye and great deduction!!
Thinking back tothe 455 70 gto that I looked at that was in an old chicken coupe... Yes...layers of dust..
There's even racoon poop on the roof of my SD.... Shame on me....my 8 car storage is full....sothe SD sits at the farm.

8-track car with buckets. The lack of console does not mean the car has been raped. I see extra pedals, so a h.d. 3-speed or a 4-speed. Castillion Bronze. The seat upholstury looks right. No matter what I would say it is a significant find.
If he didn't clean the dust off the windsheild he would be ridiculed for not doing so. You can't win sometimes.

I don't buy the staged idea completely as one would need to be very adapt at hiding tire marks. The other point is the big blue tarp off to the side which would have dealt with much of the dust. Also one could consider that the glass may have been cleaned prior to moving for visibilities sake.
Either way, it is pretty cool to know that an old Goat is coming back from the pasture.
