I have a 1958 Strato Chief for sale. It has a rebuilt inline 6 cyl. 261 with a 3spd manual trans on the floor. I runs and drives excellent. It has a decent interior, floors are solid, frame is excellent. There a couple of small holes in the trunk. It has its original wheels and 2 yr old whitewall tires. The car was restored in the 1980s, and needs to be freshened up. Its a nice driver or restoration. Get in and drive it home! ALL the chrome is in excellent condition. Please call Mike @ 519-851-6865 thank you.
A few folks thought the rear sheet metal looked like it was sagging. It's in Randys hometown!
Hard for me to say from a photo. The door seams and window fitment look ok from the photo. It's a pretty decent entry fee with a cool floor shift mod. If required it could be reapaired as you play. Plenty of guys pay twice that for a project car and this looks like a get in and driv'er
I saw it in front of that garage yesterday. I've had a bad week here, had to dish out some money for some home repairs and it's hit us pretty good. Besides that, i really doubt she'd fit in my garage. That's secondary i suppose, but kinda need money and this was something i wasn't expecting. So was this the car you went to see Todd?
I may call and look, never hurts to look right? I don't know a whole lot about this vintage, what am i looking for that would tell me to pass? What is the problem with sagging?

Frame & floors. These have an X frame. notorius for rust and breakage.
Very very nice ride for sure at a GIVE AWAY PRICE. Lose the shifter and put the stock caps on and there she is. Wow there has never been a better time to buy old cars than now. With this sick economy prices like this are the norm. Just my luck that in the past i always paid high because times were too good, now times suck and prices are low. Good luck to the seller on this one and i hope it goes to a good home where the buyer appreciates that this is a solid original survivour and not goof it up. Cheers. George.

Wow, I never thought in my wildest dreams you could pick up a car like that for that price! It seems the value of old cars has dropped quite a bit in the last few years? Damn thats a good deal...definitely a buyers market now.
