Could be full of bondo, but condition looks pretty good for someone interested in these type of cars.

Very clean and well maintained it seems. A 3-in-the-tree would be fun to drive, although in that application it might be the weaker model 2.77 RAN, non-syncro low version. I wonder if it has the 170 or the 200 six?

If it's a 200 it will have plenty of power for a car that size. The 170 on the other hand was a dog - we had one if you can believe this, in a 62 Meteor (Fairlane sized). Great car but it needed a lot more engine for its size and weight. On the higway it would barely do 60 MPH.
That was a '98, I sold it for $1,400 in July. It was a beauty but I wanted a new one.
Buddy picked up a '79 Diplomat this morning, helped him drag it out of garage where it's been for 30 years, 58k on clock, mint interior , excellent body and paint. Worked on it for 30 minutes and the 318 fired up......$300.
