1973 Lemans

http://peterborough.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-classic-cars-1973-Pontiac-Le-Mans-Coupe-W0QQAdIdZ357029269

The ad says it all, I know that some will be upset there is no price on it. Sorry guys I just didnt want to dissuade anyone from offering me a $9000 car trade straight up smile

I figure she is worth more to me than what most would believe. I will ask $4500 cash and hold out for $4000. I'll almost break even for that.

I know some may think I am crazy, but I wont sell her for any less than that.

I already turned down a trade for a 1998 Sunfire. true story.biggrin

I really dont want to sell her but I also own a 1972 Chevelle, my first car at 16 years of age. It is in need of a fair bit of work and I really need to focus on that. As well as other reasons.

Although my Chevelle is not a Pontiac, I hope to continue to hang out here with my new Pontiac friends ( a great bunch) I will have to change my name and avatar!!!

Cheers

Rob

Well, me thinks RatBoy must be right......

I had hundreds and hundreds of hits and not one CASH offer. Lots of trades from Cavaliers to Camaro's though.

Dropped the price to $3700 and still no offers after a few hundred hits.no

I will likely just hold on to her at that rate, I wont be changing my avatar any time soon biggrin.

PS, KIJIJI people make me crazy, lots of inquiries, possible sales or trades then you never hear back from them. furious

Rat Boy wishes he wasn't right but he has been watching sales of 73-77 LeMans for a decade.

Yes Mike, I think you are right. It needs more curb appeal for sure. I bought at that price knowing it needed a little bit of "Prettying up" and some cosmetic work.

I was hoping the new buyer was going to have the "vision" I had! lol.biggrin

As greater Pontiac minds than mine have said, there is really not a huge market for this style of car right now. Those of us with good taste are few and far between.wink

Not changing my Avatar just yet folks...
