Isn't that an Olds engine? No rocker arm pivots on a Pontiac engine?

For parts or whole.. have 3 spare top motors, has 3 speed auto car

could be redone but i have no time.... better sell or part out, before the is just a pile of rust and a lost dream

I think your right on the " Olds" engine in that bay... distributer is in thewrong spot , and the heads are not wide like the American Pontiac ones

 I saw that but the valve cover and oil fill tube (?) don't make sense then.

Mr. Stevenson is "on the Money" on the Oldsmobile engine!!!! Trying to read the quadrant on shifter in dash?? think it might be a US car as I'm seeing[I think} extra position "S" maybe??? Theres a 64 C/S in the Oshawa area that has a Olds. engine!!! Must not be that hard of a swap???

389 for sure or possibly a 421!!! If it's a Catalina [looks like it in Pic]or G/Prix, it would have had a Roto Hydromatic [ Slim Jim] with no Torque Converter!!! Bonnivilles & Star Chief had the 4spd. Hydromatic with the t/converter. A much larger & better trans. I pulled the slim jim out of my 64 Catalina & used a later model Olds turbo 350, " MUCH BETTER!!!!

This blue convertible is here in Powell River............I've seen in within the last year. It looked pretty tired when I seen it. It's sitting in a wrecker/tow truck type compound. If you want me to check it out (please say no, lol) just let me know. I could probably get some numbers off it if anyone really wanted me to............ Doug.
