Beleive me, I scrubbed the hell out of it. It's the best it gets without rebuilding it. It ran well and there is no $$ in the budget to overhaul it.  Before:

I'm pretty much finished cleaning up the engine compartment. 

To refresh your memories, here's how it looked a year ago:

I'm happy with the results. I still have a new underhood pad to install.

I also installed new spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor. It runs very well.

Next I have fender emblems to install and a passenger door hinge to replace. I also have a carpet to install and finally a For Sale sign.

You can never under estimate how importent an engine compartment is when it comes to the overall appeal of a vintage car. Looks great and if you sell, i hope you get what you are looking for. George, this will likely be my last old car for a while. We are hoping to move to the East coast next year and it would be too much hassle to bring the car. Also, the proceeds of the sale will go towards my son's university education.
