my Delco Radio Service Manual indicates this 7284742 is for 63-65 fullsize Pontiac.  7284742A is 66-67 fullsize Pontiac.

 .........actually just keep watching ebay as they show up often. Last year I picked a used one from a 67 GTO with the switch and even the chrome speaker grill from the back window deck, all for $62 plus shipping.   Same unit as above but didn't get that expensive box. 

I for one am not surprised with the selling amount.   The GTO guys really eat up this NOS stuff.
