Do any 67 Beaumonts use this trim?

Ok, since I had brand new eyebrows, I bought new Hood lip moulding. It was quite different looking(profile shape) than the one that came off. So I decided I am not going to use it, therefore I had to keep my original eyebrows so that there wasnt a glaring condition change. I sold it, along with other stuff to Brian (Fallsguy), and when I was packaging it up, I noticed that the little hardware packet read '1967 Chevelle Trunk Lid lower edge moulding' , and the packing slip read ' 1967 Chevelle Hood Lip moulding. I am starting to think that they sent the wrong part. Did any 67 Beaumonts use trunk trim on the lower edge? Do Chevelles? (Hang in there Brian, I have contacted my supplier, and if they messed up, they will make good, and you can have the hood trim when it gets here.)

damn.....I guess they shipped the wrong part. I have confirmed that I ordered the right part. No wonder I didnt like the looks of it, I didnt even attempt to mount it, I took it out of the box and thought "youve got to be kidding" and put it back in. I thought if my car had none, I would give it a try, but that wasnt the case. I now sold the eyebrows and trim (at a loss)due to the error. Oh well, my originals are decent and will have to do for now. They are the only exterior parts that dont appear 'perfect' from close up. I spent a lot of time with the grille this winter, and have new bumpers. Maybe I will get the originals 'redone', but not with spring right around the corner. Thanks again for the pics and info. I'd bet I'm not the only one who ever got a wrong part from a supplier for a canadian poncho!

from supplier--I like it.

Im sorry for the mix up, I will get the correct one shipped to you asap. I will send it as a gift so that you do not incur any additional duties or taxes. Once again, I apologize for the error.

It's great to hear that you won't be out any cash for the replacement of the hood trim, Tom. I will hold the trunk trim piece for you if and when you come to St Catharines this summer. I am still interested in both bumpers as well.

Hi Brian,

Yes, I liked the suppliers response. I am still waiting, but I havent ran the tracking number yet. Should be here soon. I will make contact next time I travel to St Catharines and see if we can set something up. I believe the wife may be going at the ens of this month, but I doubt that she could put them in her Cruze.

Now that I know the whole story, I am going to buy another one for myself and another set of eyebrows
