Do Any Saskatchewan Members Remember this 62 Impala?

I've owned this 62 Impala since about 1998 but it's always bugged me that I was never able to find any of the former owners.

The info package from GM Canada said the car was built in Flint Michigan and sold new at Saskatoon Motors. I think the reason it was built in the US is because it's a Super Sport convertible.

I contacted Saskatoon Motors when I first got the car but they didn't have any records going back that far.

A few days after I got the car I got a call from the dealer I bought it from. He had been contacted by someone from Saskatoon that saw his add in the Auto Trader Magazine and this guy knew all about the car. The dealer passed on my number but the guy never called.

Here's how the car looked when I got it...

The car had a 396 in it when I got it but the guy that called the dealer said it used to have a 409. If that was the case, you'd think someone from the Saskatoon area might remember it.

Anyway, if anybody has any ideas about how I might go about finding some history or a former owner I'd love to hear them.

why not just post a AD on Saskatoon kijiji and see if anyone will reply ??

Good idea! I might give that a try.

I also just registered to post on the Draggins posting board. I'll give that a try too.
