I was in California 5 or 6 years ago, and had dinner in Huntington Beach on a Saturday night.  We saw signs indicating main street would be shut down on Sunday morning (St. Patrick's Day) and we presumed it was for a parade.  We happened to drive by, and it was a car show.   As Huntington Beach is Surf City USA, I'd never seen so many station wagons at a car show, many with surf boards hanging out the back.   There were many A-body wagons there, and this Vista Cruiser would have fit right into that show.
