Could be very nice obviously, but it looks like another case of spending a pile of dough and it's only worth 50 cents on the dollar.

I know where it's twin is ,, same condition .. stored under a rotten tarp...  It was priced the same,   missed it by a few days.

It hasn't moved since.. it may come up for sale again..BUT..I'd be scared it needs the everything ...

I have a little secret too! I know where there is another 66 Sport Deluxe Beaumont Convertible is too,it's all there but rough. And the persons asking 3x's the 4500,scary project.I think if I took that project on,and could ever finish it,I would hate the car so much I wouldn't even enjoy it.I think there is a point where it's not even worth while, you would be better off to throw 200 bucks a day out your drivers window for 5 years. It would be pretty much the same thing anyway.                We all agree!

That vert is only good for parts in my opinion.

Yes someone save it. The body doesn't look that bad from the pictures and it had a 4 speed.

I'm not saying crush anything,or part it out,it's just a pile of work, and unless your are totally nuts and have a pile of cash to burn who else takes that on.If I could only find a giant money tree,or get my wife to rob the bank she works at,or win 6/49,I would have to quit my work to complete the projects like those.I guess there are alot of things I much rather be doing other than working, like having an endless sourse of cash and fixing up your favorite cars, maybe in heaven it could happen who knows. If I get there.

Yep, if someone out there's got really deep pockets... then go ahead and try and save it!

I love ALL Tin Indians... and wish they all could be saved, but also think some need to be sacraficed ...so others can live on. wink

10-4,I just went on Kajiji to look at the add, can't find it.....also you will see that butternut yellow 66 SD,it was just for sale in that Mecum auction,I would like to dig around Mecum site to see what top bid was for that car,I would be surprised if it more than half of what he wants...which is 37.500.00

Agreed, it may be a lot for a project or parts car but you certainly don't find a Beaumont convert on every street corner. Supply and demand.

I'll try to keep this short because I'm derailing the thread and that irks some of the members here! Also, a post about my faith irks some members here too!

I know our arrival in heaven can be guaranteed because God promises it in his word. I can quote all kinds of Bible verses but that is old hat. I have personally been rescued from a life with no hope, about 27 years (1/2 my life) ago. There is no way my life at that point would have permitted me access to eternal life with my Creator, God. And you know what? My life the next 27 years still doesn't earn me access to heaven. Only because God sacrificed His own Son to show me the way to heaven do I have any hope of getting there.

I can go in to much more detail if you like, either in a PM, by phone, or a whole new thread that doesn't derail the original intent of showing people there is a great deal to be had here on a 67 Beaumont convertible!

Feel free to discuss the above more with me if you wish. The change I experienced most certainly saved me from self destruction.

Would it be the one on the "beaumont production #" thread????????

If so,  for 4500 they got one of only 75 produced,  not bad. 6cyl custom.

I sometimes get a chance to peek/post on here while at work depending on how busy it is. Also, I get 2 coffee breaks and a lunch break that I can also use.

Wow. That was my dads car. It was in Metchosin, In a barn by a pond. We bought it for $800 back in '94. It was in a field in lake Cowichan. he stored it for 20years in the shop. Silly me, I was too busy building 4x4s when he sold it. kicking my self now. Did you sell it yet??

I don't think it's a member here selling it. I think someone just posted the ad in case there are people looking for such a car.
