Sure looks to be a 301 or maybe a 350, yup.

I once drove a used B body of that era with a 301 from our dealership. We took it to Nebraska. Killer fuel mileage but barely could get out of it's own way!

my Uncle had a 81, nice smooth riding car, his had a 305.....could only pass a gas station!
