I wish I had more money cause I would own this car. Would be cool to have it beside my 67 biscayne 2dr 427 car, both the same color. It's going for some good coin so far, wonder what the reserve is??
1967 2dr Biscayne. L36, M40, G80, K05, F41. #'s. 1967 Impala convert. 283, glide. Parked in the garage since 74 and hasn't moved. Soon to be BB 4speed.
UP FOR AUCTION FROM THE "AMMON R. SMITH DEALERSHIP"(YORK,PA) IS A 1967 CHEVY 4-DOOR BISCAYNE WITH A "MATCHING #'s" 427/385/400 MOTOR. THE 400 HP COMES FROM A DATED & COMPLETE 1968 CORVETTE TRI-POWER SETUP. CARB'S AND INTAKE ARE DATED 1968. THERE IS 57,500 ORIGINAL MILES ON THIS BISCAYNE. THE '68 VETTE TRI-POWER SETUP IS 100% ORIGINAL FROM INTAKE TO THE CORRECT CORVETTE TRI-POWER AIR CLEANER. BISCAYNE COMES WITH A MATCHING #'s TURBO 400 TRANSMISSION AND MATCHING #'s 12-BOLT POSI REAR END. THE ONLY OTHER OPTION THAT THE BISCAYNE HAS IS A SHADDED/TINTED WINDSHEILD. BISCAYNE HAS A RADIO DELETE/BLOCKOFF PLATE. WITHOUT THE TRI-POWER SETUP AND WITH THE ORIGINAL, CORRECT CARB & INTAKE THE HORSE POWER WOULD BE 385HP. MATCHING #'s 427 MOTOR RUNS EXCELLENT, BURNS NO OIL! ORIGINAL INTERIOR IS IN GREAT SHAPE WITH A RATING OF ABOUT A 9 OUT OF 10. BODY AND LAQUER PAINT ARE AROUND AN 8 OUT OF 10. BISCAYNE IS SHOW WORTHY BECAUSE OF IT'S ORIGINALITY. I HAVE OWNED THE BISCAYNE FOR ABOUT 20 YEARS AND HAVE ONLY SHOWN IT ONCE. RECENTLY I HAVE PUT NEW TIRES ON, NEW DYNOMAX TURBO MUFFLERS, NEW BRAKES AND BRAKE HARDWARE/LINES. BISCAYNE STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL AMMON R. SMITH DEALERSHIP DECAL ON THE REAR BUMPER. I ALSO HAVE SOME ORIGINAL PAPER WORK FROM THE DEALERSHIP WHEN NEW. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SHOW IT, THE BISCAYNE IS A GREAT ORIGINAL DRIVER!
PLEASE TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION THAT THE COMPLETE '68 CORVETTE TRI-POWER SETUP IS WORTH APPROX. $2,500 TO $3,000.
In my opinion..........Being a 4 door makes it non desireable to 98% of perspective buyers. In a time when it is hard to get decent money for desireable cars I can't see this being worth more than 15k and even then you have to find one of those 25 of buyers.
Like I said, in my opinion. Of course if you are flush with lots of cash it would be kinda cool to have
If someone in Canada won it at $15,000.00, it would cost $18,000.00+ by the time it gets to their door.
I'd rather have Carl's old Chief.

The 427 4dr has the exact same tonowanda code as mine. T0523IJ, both motors built the same day and were blaced in 2 biscayne's the same color. Too cool.
