hi need help once again, can anyone tell me ...is the reverse light switch in the colum or on the trans, in a 4speed gp 69........biggrin

Does the column sleeve move when you put it in reverse? If so, I think it's on the column.

If you are not sure, I have the parts book for it, I can check.

ya i can feel something move in the colum it also locks when i shut it off....

It is on the columm. It has two wire connections for the reverse lights. You will have to have the backdrive linkage from the transmission hooked up for it to work.
