1951 pontiac fleetleader deluxe


I've just bought my first real project and I've pulled the front clip, the engine and tranny. I'm after all sorts of parts. Could someone direct me in the best place to aquire things like engine seal kits, Carb kits, A radiator etc. Thanks

Is yours a sedan or torpedoback, my 1950 salesmans fact book shows,fleetleader deluxe and special models,chieftain, and streamliner deluxe I have a fletleader special 4 door torpedo back, the fleetleader being the shortest wheebase at 115, chieftain and streamliner @ 120, engines in the fleetleader were 6 cylinder with the other two available in 6 or 8 cylinder, hope this sheds some light on it

It's the 2dr Torpedo back aka Fastback, as I'm learning.... Apparently the only difference is in the name though. Thanks for the wheel base info. I've found out that the car is pretty well the same as the Chevy 210. Interchangable body parts for example. Thanks for the info
