Mr. Giulfoyle showed up with one of these when I was 12. He lived across the street from us. 1970 was the first year you could get a Bonneville in the regular Canadian dealer offerings. His was purchased from Hogan Pontiac Buick on the Danforth in Troronto. It was gold with a black vinyl roof, 4 door hardtop with PMD wire wheels and dual stripe white wall tires. I can still see the red callouts on that front fender - Bonneville 455 and that engine throbbing.  I vowed to myself to get a Bonneville one day. I did, I bought a brand new 1992, factory ordered to my liking in December 1991.

I texted the guy, he replied this morning.  He said to offer under $4000, and it's the 360 hp motor.

Means it has a 70 455, opposed to a later year 455 or some other block, which would be helpful for someone looking to take the drivetrain out of it.

That is a good answer    I was implying that matching numbers means nothing on a   non muscle car   but the info on the year would be important   thanks  now I is brighter
