I'd go for the "Cargo Coils" still get a good ride, doesn't lift the back up "that much" Did this on friends 69 Cutlass Rag Top & he was pleased with ride & car came up a bit 1" maybe

I want to replace the rear springs on my 2+2 and was considering the cargo coils (variable rate, I think they're called).

I was curious what other people thought too. If the cargo's only raise it an inch, I'd willing to deal with that, as long as the ride isn't too harsh.

Hi guys,

Just wanted to bump this up, to ellicit more comments about constant versus variable rate springs.

Anyone have any opinions for or against ?

Regards,

Scott (LandShark ...)

My personal experience with Cargo Coils has been excellent as well. Nice ride height, great handling a car load of people!
