Not a Beaumont, but one of my favourite street sleepers was a 67 Laurentian 4 door wagon a farmer bought new. 300 HP 327, 4 gear, bench seat and a collum mount tach (supposedly the tach was either factory or dealer installed ?) Those days you just never knew what the factory might slip through the assembly lines.

Meh... you have a nice original car there. I'd leave it alone. Why not put the 4-speed in one of your 2-doors? (unless they already have them, of course)
