Hmm...I wonder?


Well i have a nice 68 4dr V8 bench car and i do have a 4spd sitting in shed. Hmmm sure would turn some heads at a cruise night.biggrin

Anybody know if a 4spd  bench seat 4dr was ever available or built for Beaumonts in 68?

I HAVE HEARD OF AT LEAST 1 '67 4DR. 4SPD. BEAUMONT THAT GOT PARTED OUT. IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING PUTTING A '68 TOGETHER, I SAY GO FOR IT.biggrin

wagons were available with four speeds....    

Brochure in Library shows 4 speed only with V8's

Not a Beaumont, but one of my favourite street sleepers was a 67 Laurentian 4 door wagon a farmer bought new.
300 HP 327, 4 gear, bench seat and a collum mount tach (supposedly the tach was either factory or dealer installed ?)
Those days you just never knew what the factory might slip through the assembly lines.

I wish I had one,(picture) but that was in '67-68 when I saw the car..by now likely gone to that great scrap yard in the sky

Meh... you have a nice original car there.  I'd leave it alone.  Why not put the 4-speed in one of your 2-doors?  (unless they already have them, of course)
