Sweet Car especially the 409, need the link for the 409 block, some 409 enthusiast here that would love to see or buy a block etc
Nothing like a Canadian Pontiac

 Here's a link to Bob Walla's site.

He doesn't update it very often. I think the iron blocks will sell for either $3,000 or $3,500 I can't remember for sure. The aluminum blocks are closer to $5,500

I invited myself to the shop one day and I was educated. The two Jim's are excellent hosts including Dexter their dog and because I am an old 409 guy the excellent work put into the 61 blew my mind. Do you know it has a Corvette front clip? The 62 ss convert. 409, the 55 chevy 409 and their Vintage Mack 5th. wheel truck. Congratulations on your car being this months Feature Car.

I just love the stock body drag cars from the 60's and this is one of the coolest I've seen.

...early-to-mid-60's Pontiacs are some of the nicest-looking cars to ever come out of Detroit...they beat the Chevies all to hell on looks thru those years...and though we have a '64 that we love and happen to think that it was a very good-looking year for Pontiac, I don't think there's anything nicer and more timeless looks-wise than a '61 or '62 bubbletop. And the nicest combo I can think of is a '61 with a 409!!!! She's real fine...!
