Wow, GM really did have more money than brains back then.
Sure beats lugging around 9 full size mats.
They have been doing this for decades ... making salesman samples of furniture, pianos, tractors, woodstoves, etc. Some old salesman samples are worth thousands & thousands of dollars now, more than the actual full size item.
