ANYBODY KNOW HOW COMMON THE HOUNDSTOOTH SEATS ARE? I HAVE ONLY SEEN ONE OTHER '70 2+2 CAR THAT HAD IT.
Not common. Besides what 67Poncho posted above, I have only seen 1 other with the houndstooth interior. It was a Black Cherry car with grey & white factory stripes, and a black vinyl roof cover. The car was repainted Cranberry Red in 1977, losing the stripes in the process. It was sold in 77/78 and I never saw it again.

I don't judge a man by how far he's fallen, but by how far back he bounces - Patton
Called on the car, hard to get a straight answer from him. But car was hit about 15 years ago, when he was in Calgary. Drove it home to Edmonton with a bent wheel after the accident. At present time car does not run and has been sitting for about 15 years in a garage with a dirt floor. Garage fell apart car now outside Price is all over the map, from a thousand, two thousand etc. So ended conversation at that point, but would or could make a great parts car.
There always seems to be another 70 2+2 appearing here in Western Canada. Re the houndstooth interior, I've seen a number of them (the ones I've seen were always black doorpanels, with black/white houndstooth), but I'm sure they're outnumbered by the vinyl interiors.
