1966 Beaumont 4 speed convertible spotted at local car show.

That looks like the one that was recently for sale.  (Possibly still is judging be the dealer plates?)

Here's an earlier post re the car:

Saw this one parked at the entrance of the Dorchester car show (which was a good show by the way). Not fussy on the tailpipes protruding where the backup lights used to be, but other than that it was a good looking car. Looked like an older restoration. It had a dealer plate on it.

That's one solution for replacing those hen's-teeth backup lamps!

Nice looking car all right.

I hope you left him a card!

am i going to ruffle feathers. i like the way the exhaust exits the car. never been one for stock looking anything. was thinking about how that might work on my wagon but then i remember sitting in the back of dads 67 beaumont wagon with the back window down sucking on the exhaust.

I like stock look underhood, but extra juice can never hurt.

on my  car   the  only  visible  difference  on the engine   will be the manifold, carb   and  air filter  , the  rest   will be   like  original

no headers , orig  valve covers   etc  does it for  me

as long  as you  could  bring it back  to orig  with the original  parts , i kept  my 2 barrel   carb  and manifold ( carb is rebuilt  and  never had gas in it )
