on a '70 GTO convert at Kirkpatrick GM in Vancouver, it was first sold by Ken Taylor motors in Revelstoke.

$2750 was the price, it was about 48 hundred new. I've kept the protecto plate, and other items including the original steel hood as well as the steel wheels and hubcaps.

Over the years it's been the daily driver, a rally car, slalom racer, hill climber, baby transport, and now it cruises, hauls my '74 TYrillium trailer to the drag strip and races.  Best pass was last weekend at Mission with an 11:97 at 109.5 mph.

It got a fresh 396 on warantee in '72, then another in the late 80s then a 454 in '96 and now it's a 496, since the last 396 it's been propane fueled.Two IMPCO 600 cfm mixers on an Offy lo rise .  Still the 12 bolt rear, but with an Eaton posi, didn't have factory posi to start, nutso with that 425 ft lbs of torque !  Went to 4:10 gears from the factory 3:31It's equiped with the tranny hump 8 track option and dash AM radio, all working.
