Bad experience with part sale

This post is to notify other members of a non paying member on this site. I have been selling good usable car parts for over 20 years and have experienced my first non paying "individual". His site name is bigblocks4ever and I recommend you do not do business with him. I sold him parts, after several private messages,  trusting him to pay for his parts and the shipping,a total of $91. The parts were sent on June 27 and after 4 emails I have given up on the payment. This guy Frank is a parasite to the fine people on this site. BEWARE!

Oh,that's nice.Get out the golf or football tee.Sounds like you got your first feel of Elk sausage!

Sorry to hear this happened Chris. No matter how sincere a person seems, it's still best to wait until funds are in hand before shipping parts.

I met a sincere person 6 years ago,and has caused me nothing but grief,I've wanted to kill him on a daily basis at least 6 times a day,and I think I'm a very mellow guy.

Man, that is most unfortunate Chris. I hate reading something like that on here.

I see he hasn't logged in since June 23rd. I wonder if he is away. I know I had a deal with him quite a while back and he was extremely slow in responding to some of my notes. I think one time it was over a week but in this case it's hard to believe he has been gone that long. I sure wish this would somehow have a happy ending eventually.

Thank you for posting this. I am sure it took some soul searching before you decided to do it but I think you did the right thing to prevent others from having the same misfortune.

I've been reading some of his old posts and one says he's in SoCal but I am sure when I dealt with him that it was either Arizona or New Mexico. Seems to me he has a very long impressive list of older cars too.

I Googled the address he gave me and it was a Wharehouseconfuseand with V Pike you can go right to the address to see it on line.I believe I forwarded all the info to Todd. Saddens me when people play Games with no intention of buyingno

I inquired with the site Founder because the bell sale $$ were to go to the website as a donation and was riddiculed by a  member for thisconfuse   ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I left a "nasty" message and he actually called me. I think I may have frightened him and he told me he would forward payment which I have not seen yet. I pretty well have wrote him off. So I would still avoid him! BEWARE

This burns my checks too, I just checked his status and see although hes still an active member, he hasn't been on C.P. since June. Why should we keep members who make trouble for others? I say cut 'em loose, its suppose to be a privalage to be a member Canadian Poncho, if you screw up, then you should loose those privalages. Thats just my call, d.

This all reminds me of an ebay experience I had about 5 or 6 years ago.   I bought a 4 core rad for my 2+2 from a gent in Amarillo TX.   The auction ended while I was in the states, and I sent him a US postal money order.    I could see that he cashed it, but my part didn't show up.   Before long, he started getting a bunch of negative feedback comments.   I read some of the comments, and at that time you could see who the buyers were, and check what feedback they'd left others.   I had to take some of it with a grain of salt, but a couple people seemed pretty level headed and I swapped e-mails with them, and basically they hadn't received their stuff after waiting over a month.

I figured I was screwed, but I looked the gent up in the phone book.  I called, but got his father (Dusty Sr), who lived in Amarillo, but the son (Dusty Jr) lived on an acreage south of town.

I figured calling the Amarillo cops wouldn't get me anywhere, but I figured I'd try another avenue.   I'm a POCI member, so I contacted a POCI member in Amarillo.  I called him out of the blue, explained my situation, and asked if there was any way he could help me.  He said he ran a furniture store in town, and they do their own financing, and occasionally he had to track down delinquent payers.  He said he'd see what he could do, and get back to me.    A couple hours later he called, he'd asked around about the seller, and found he's supposed to be an ok guy, so he went and paid him a visit.   The seller said he's sent the rad a couple days earlier, and that they'd had snow etc which had screwed thing up.   My fellow confirmed they'd had snow, and said that yes that screws everything up as they have no snow removal.

Long story short, my rad showed up a few weeks later, post marked after my guy paid the seller a visit.    Now, keep in mind, this was Amarillo TX, where everyone carries guns.    I'm not sure I'd be so brave to go out to some guys place to represent some guy I don't know, and ask where the part was.

I thanked my guy, and said if he's ever at a POCI show I'd buy him a few beers.

I was hoping he would come clean and pay up but it's obvious that isn't going to happen. His account has been deleted.
