For sale: 1968 14x6 JK ( F41, WAGON) rims.

For sale:

4-1968 dated 14x6 JK rims. These were used on wagons and BB cars with F41 suspension (on B bodies). These are in very very nice condition, no rot. These 4 rims are coded K-1-8 (1) and K-2-8 (3). Hard to find in this condition, and getting very hard to find these in general. Will fit many years not just 1968.  $275.00 for all four, I would remove the rubber and ship them too if required.

When I started working in a tire shop in 1969  

We used to have 40-50 of those painted black   sold for snow tires  $5.00 each biggrin   

 

The ones the fellows used to look for, here, were Station rims that were reversed!                                                                                                                                 The inside wide part, was on the outside...  

The tire had to be dismounted on and off the back side  

Most Chevy II owners were using them with retread slicks

 

heres a  true Reverse 14x6 rim   now called 409 rims    wide lip to outside.....

I put a set of these on my '63 Impala a couple weeks ago (in '63 they came on Chevy station wagons and 409 cars only). They look great!
