Solid hardtop Pontiac in fairly solid shape. Complete, runs and drives, but has been sitting. Inline six with three on the tree. Very nice interior and chrome trim. Located in Alexandria.
You don't see these too often. Just put a bit of time into it and you have a driver.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet. I love everything about this sweet Pontiac especially the three on the tree. Interesting optioned car because of the top line model with 261 six and stick on the tree and no radio. Very nice.........I LIKE IT!!!!!!!! I only hope she goes to a good home and by a good home i mean KEEP HER THE WAY SHE IS! Do not mess with an original clean survivor Pontiac. There are so few in that catagory anyway. Cheers. George.

No argument there Todd. That is one sweet motor with tons and tons of character and i love that dependable, reliable, stable, rock steady, solid, hard working, can do attitude, always on time for work, goes the added mile, works until it dies kind of non glory existence. That 261 is one of the most under estimated work horses but to those of us that know and we are a group that are enlightened in the cause that is 261 INLINE SIX CYLINDER GM MOTOR............... The 261 is our holy grail of what is "real" and "true" in the world of internal combustion motorosity!!!!!!! Yes i have been blessed, like you and some others about the 261 and its eternal rock solid reliability. Yes we are the enlightened and we shall go forward spreading the good 261 gospel. Ok Todd i had my fun and yes i do agree with all above remarks. Cheers. George.

Wow Is that a Hybrid? I see a plug by the left grille.Nice original car Deserves to stay the way it is.If I had money, tell you what i'd do.Go to his house and but a Pontiac too.
Just found this old post on this 1960 Pontiac Laurentian. I've been driving by this car sitting under a tree at least once a week for years. Finally decided to stop in and ask if it was for sale. Yup and made a deal on the spot, it would make you cry if I told you what I picked this up for ( but I won't tell ). In the 3 weeks since I've had it all I did to it was put some cheepo chrome reverse wheels on it, can't believe that 285-70-15 bfs fit on the rear with lotsa room and gives it a nice rake without heavy duty coils or air shocks. Purchased a complete 348 last week for it but it runs so nice with the 261 in it now that I think i'll leave it be for the meantime. I have not cleaned it up/detailed it yet or touched it up, maybe this winter, but without destroying the patina. I love it and looks really cool.

George, Cleaning and more cleaning. Years of neglect and that grime and tree sap is quite something to get off. I've started to Machine polish the paint surface and 'WOW' I did not think the results would be so incredible. Yes I've been told by my Buddies to leave it as is, I agreed it's kinda cool leaving it the way it is but wanted to see what was under all that Crapola. As for the results it's really coming out better than anticipated. I put the Car up for Sale and just keep thinking Why am I doing this when it should be a keeper and I know It would be hard for me to find one like this, but I'm into Chevy Tri-Fives big time and would like another, I have 3 now and would like to get an Acadian or Chevy II just because I had quite a few of them when I was younger. When I get the Laurentian finished I'll post some Pic's and maybe I will just decide to keep and enjoy it. Happy Holidays to all, Louie....
Looking forward to seeing pics of the clean-up! I really like these cars, so of course my vote would be to keep it!
261 and three on the tree is actually a nice combo for these cars - torquier than expected. Everybody and his dog has a hot rod these days, I say this one is cooler kept original (ha ha... not that I have any say in it - it's your car so enjoy as you wish).
Louie, thanks for the updates and like Mark (MC) said, we need pictures, lots and lots and lots of pictures. That is one sweet find you got there and i know what i would be doing if she was mine. Keeping her and keeping her original. Cheers. George
