I've been to a couple s&s with Shawn and his car looks great, the new rallys and T/A's give it a muscle edge. good choice !

Steve,

They actually take pretty good pictures, but they need good lighting..

Love the new wheels and look better suited for the car too. I take my pics using my Accer A500 Iconia Tablet and it works great in the dark areas too, just need to play around with all the setting and all these tablets can take great pics. new toys just needing time to get them figured out as I'm sure we all don't read the owners manuals

Agreed, very hard to beat. In my case, I had a tough time deciding between Torque Thrusts, Ralley's, and steelies with dog dish Beaumont caps (with a trim ring). I'm glad that I went with the Ralley's, however of the three mentioned, the only regret I sometimes have is that the dog dish are the only ones that were truly available on the 66 Beaumont. But the period correct is only off by a year. Now if I could get redlines at a good price... (which would also be off by a year.)
I look forward to seeing the new shoes on your recently transplanted auto!

Those look awesome, I think.   My treatment for my long departed (to the body shop) 66 Grande is going to be these babys.

BF Goodrich 235/60's on 15 x7 ralleys with the centre spinners stolen out of the stock 66 Grande wheel covers and grafted onto the ralley caps.

I figure it keeps it almost stock but just improves it a bit.

Love to find  4 spinners with no pits but I'll just keep looking....

I have to say Shawn, rallys look much better than your old wheels, but I'm a major "rally" guy!

Hey Ken, that is a cool idea. You've get the GP identity there.

Tell everyone who asks that you have a GM exec car and that's why you have the earliest MK IV known (so far), A/C AND prototype rallys and caps!

I owned that thing from 1972 (I was 15) as a 49,000 mile 235 splash system el cheapo 150 two door sedan (formerly owned by a priest) that was flaking green paint up to 1983 when it had a nice black paint job and a pretty hot 350 with a 4 speed and a groovy quadraphonic tape deck.  I parked it in 1984 to work on my 39 Buick and eventually sold it to my cousin so its still around somwhere. ( I think) That shot was taken at the Forestry school in Hinton, Alberta In 1983.  Great car, went a lot better that it stopped or handled. Not sure how I actually lived through that decade, as I had a policy at that time  that nobody was allowed to pass me!
