I am surprised you have not sold that. It's not an easy option to find for those cars.

I've had one of these for a while, from a 65, can't decide if I should sell it...

Have a friend looking for a 65 power bucket seat unit. Anyone know if 65 and 64 are the same? Believe it's the same bucket just uncertain on the switch design and tracks.

A member contacted me about buying it but I said didnt want to sell at this time.  I explained that I paid a lot for it several years back, knowing it had a broken switch, but didnt know the motor mechanism didnt work either.  With the intent to install it, I was able to repair it only to find that one of the tracks is missing a part as well.  Anyway, I shelved it and forgot I had it until I saw this post.  As a winter project, I will try to locate, or fabricate, the missing track part, then decide whether to keep it....

If you want to work on getting it to work, shoot me a PM or call me. I have some experience with those.

A couple in headingly MB are restoring a plum 65 CS HT (like their wedding car) and would really like to add a power seat. If a member has a 65 seat they would be willing to sell one PM me and I will forward the contact info for them. Told them about this site. Hope they join. I haven't seen the car yet but it is fresh out of the body shop. Car came from ON. Anyone here?

Carl, here is the mechanism, missing one track with the mount.  Maybe a non pwr track will work?

Here's what I had to do to the switch.  The knob was missing so I used a wiper knob that matches the dash ones.

In fairness to the seller of this track, why don't we start a new thread for this Steve? It may be of interest to others who have power seats?

62-64 Buckets from a Chevrolet or CANADIAN Pontiac fold on an angle toward the tranny tunnel. The 65 Buckets in Chevrolet and CANADIAN Pontiacs fold straight forward and DO NOT have the same tracks as the 62-64 but look the same visually.
