If that car is the one that was at the Garden City show a couple of years ago (makes sense, it was a black 427 car) it is absolutely incredible. The paint and detail was nothing short of amazing. Never seen it since.

The Black car is a Canadian documented L79 (325hp/327) originally... now with a NOM Big Block. I have not seen it but have been advised that it is VERY nice!
I believe Tom Williams "Wilma's boy" on Steves nova site has a 70 driver L78 #'s car for sale but he also has others and knows of more...

Muscle car guy since high school..first "real car" was a 1970 L78 4spd Nova in 1973...40 years later and they are still in my blood. Enjoy fishing, hunting, golf, music and of course all kinds of cars.

Hi, a friend of mine is looking for a solid 1969 L78 Nova. Can be auto or 4 speed. Has $$ for the right car.
If your friend is serious, he needs to contact Tom. I have transported most of his cars at one time or another including one to the Corvette and Muscle Car Show in Chicago. I believe he has over 10 cars and all except one I know of are BB cars either original or restored by National Nostalgic Nova in York, PA.
There is a red one that goes to cruise night here in LOndon. Has been for sale for atleast 2 years. Wants $25k for it. Its really realy nice. Was on kijiji then not. If cruise night is on Sun, Ill snap pics and a number if I see it.

Thanks everyone. The car has to be a 69 and has to be an original Big Block car. It can be a 350 horse car but the L78 is preferred. It doesn't have to be a numbers matching motor, but it should be a CE or date correct equivalent. He wants a complete car so he's not chasing around for a bunch of little parts or BB specific pieces, but the car doesn't have to be a restored car. ( But it must be solid)
I sent him a link for a 69 original engine, Dover White column shift car in NJ off the Yenko site, needs some work but is solid and is priced fairly at 21500. There's also a Rally Green one for sale on there @ 17500, but it's down in California. I think he'd prefer to buy in Canada or somewhere closer in the states. I did tell him about Tom Williams, I'll send him the contact info.
