 I am looking for a 4 speed but not in a rush as I haven't even picked the car up yet.  Will that work with a 4 cylinder?

1. In winter of 1972 I bought a 1971 Pontiac Ventura II Sprint in Moncton N.B.    

   Drove it home, and by spring was looking to "soup it up"  It was a V8 3 speed   

2. In Clinton On (my home) I contacted a friend, John Hoogness about a 4 speed..  

3. He sold me a M20 wide ratio, from a 66 Chevy II L79  hardtop for $200.00   

4. He sold the "Rusty" rolling chassis to a Doug Blysma..    

Fast forward 40 years.   

John Hoogness is restoring a 1966 Acadian L79 and Doug Blysma is finally getting the "same" 66 Chevy II L79 restored..

This week Doug bought my fresh M20 for the 66 L79 !!   

I thought it was funny to be replacing the trans in the same car  42 years later.

that is one lucky buyer
