Interesting, nice original car under a pile of dust. Priced a little high for a 4-door, but it does look like it would clean up nicely (they do say looking for best offer).
Here's the line that gets me: "We try to spin the gears and wheels every 6 months. been doing that for 29 years. It was bought for the first son born into the family and he does not drive."
...Saved the car for 29 years for the son who has no interest in it! Yeesh!
ALL ORIGINAL 6 cylinder, 1959 Chevy Biscayne less than 59,000 miles, stick shift on steering column, backseat still has plastic on it. inside is pretty minty.4 door, two toned paint, sides grey top white outside. It is faded a bit and really dusty. Needs a home where someone will show it off and wash it. We try to spin the gears and wheels every 6 months. been doing that for 29 years. It was bought for the first son born into the family and he does not drive. Looking for best Offer.
Probably true on that one... I have a thing for those cars, so I probably think it's worth more than it is. One thing about all the dust is that in my mind's eye it's mint underneath whereas the reality is probably somewhat less than that. Another look at the pics indicates that there might be a crease on the right rear door, so who knows what else you might find.
On the other hand, I'm a sucker for a near-mint interior with original upholstery. I guess I've seen too many Canadian Tire seat covers in my day...
Unrelated question... did you buy that '66 Laurentian that's in your avatar? I've been dying to know what happened to it ever since I saw it on kijiji...

... turns out the son loves the ballet, and is a fantastic hair stylist (not that there is anything wrong with that).

As much as it sucks, that is likely a realistic figure in today's market George. A perfect example of that is the gorgeous 66 4 door sedan that a site member recently purchased with even lower miles than this one.

Ray there you go again, hating 50's cars. Come on now brother the 50's was the best era for styling. With out a doubt......... no doubt about it. Everything else pales in style after that. At least in the fifties you could tell one car from another. The era's after had it in power but style......... NOTHING WILL EVER MATCH THE MANY CAR'S OF THE 1950's. The 1959 Chevrolet in my opinion has always been a BEAUTIFUL car, especially as an Impala. Ray why the hatred for cars like this. If my garage was long enough i would have a 1959 Chevrolet in it. Long live the 1959 Chevy!!!!!!!!! Cheers. George.

I guess our cars are now getting to be more worth as scrap than a thing of automotive beauty. That is so sad to me. Where is all this going to end, especially with todays young people not giving a damn about all these wonderful cars. I suppose in the future most of our beloved oldies will end up as scrap. I just depressed myself so excuse me while i go out side and take my 1957 sweet heart out for a cruise. Cheers. George.

I'm with George with the style of the 59/60's "Those stupid posts" that's part of the Art of the car, you can't find any car sculpted like a mid to late 50's car. Don't get me wrong as I really do love all car styles, I like the muscle car era down to the old steamers and even have an appreciation for old motorcycles/bikes. There will never be a new car that has so much detail made from an American car manufacturer ever again. But we all have our own opinions and we are adult enough to know that we are not trying hurt each others feelings
Here you go boys just to prove Rat Boy loves the 50's, I snapped these beauties last Sunday and one is even a 1959 !
As for feelings, George and I know each other well enough that he know's when I'm yanking his chain.....besides, I fired two peole last week so I'm low on the feeling quotient.
To Todds point I really like Vista's but I could get used to this 6 window job if it was in my driveway.....
always got to respect a Biscayne Rat boy , it the popular image of the hard working man and his transportation for his 6 kids , 3 in the back seat ,3 in the trunk.
personnaly i love Biscaynes , but 1961 to 69
