Kinda makes you appreciate the value seen in a certain 57 don't it?

advise given is an opinion directed to poster. It all depends on your skill set, You gotta like the untouched nature of the 55 for a build but get it on the road as happy looking as that 57...even if dollars were no object wink

Exactly, I do appreciate this cars originality for sure but with no engine in the car it sorta puts it in the bottom of the list. If I had a spare drivetrain laying around? Maybe but I don't, I know I could find something out of a newer donor car but I would like to enjoy the car this spring smile The 57 is way more attractive to me and I personally like the hard tops better. I think Kevin knows where my mind is.

I do see that nasty damage on the rear quarter but that is still a REALLY nice original car. I don't really care what any of you buy as long as YOU like it. Thank god we don't all like the same thing. I would like to say one thing though- Would all of the losers that keep turning 4 door 567 Chevys into 2 door 567 Chevys PLEASE STOP DOING THAT. I would love to drive that car as a nice 4 door but if it gets any cheaper it will be a 2 door by spring- just wait.
