i figured that trailer would go for $2500 at least, i use a 18' feather lite for a flat deck, i really like it. my buddy uses a texas roll back that needs no ramps. the no ramp thing is very nice.

It's just "SHY" of 16' [15' 10"] frt to back & 80" between the fenders 2 3500 lb. axles w/brakes on one axle [electric] 2 5/16" ball coupler. all steel trailer weighs around 1500LB??? Going back to look at "new trailer" today & see if I can do a test run with car on it!! Pete Norontcan, that was "kinda personal" question!! wasn't it!!!!!!!

I have a 20 foot tilt deck trailer with 4 foot beaver tail and love it but it also cost 3 times the asking price plus taxes. A friend of mine built one and it cost him $2600 so you cant beat the asking price.

Port Perry is "laid' back it isn't funny. Not unusual to see signs in store back in 1/2 hr etc. while they go visit next door or go for lunch!!! Think the attitude is "if they want something they'll come back'

Sounds like PEI ... either NO service or insanely over-the-top service, no inbetween.

This story is about somebody lying to me to get something they wanted so they could make a bigger profit selling. probably told this story before, had a best friend who had a beautiful 1975 z1 900 kawasaki bone stock original. i also had the same bike but mine was far from stock go figure, any ways i had an original in perfect shape glove box manual for my bike. he hounded me for years to sell him the manual and i finally relented and traded for a ratty one so he could have a primo manual to show with the bike at bike shows. doesn't he go up and sell the bike with the manual. lets say we didn't talk for years after i told him what i thought.

Just to get this off my chest, I sold this trailer at the price that 1st. came to my mind, only to be told it was too cheap but I stuck to my word, also had it on KIJIJ for more $$$ The person who bought it was all enthused about it [not from here but another site I listed it on at same time& & same. price] He bought it but didn't want me to fill out transfer part of ownership saying his uncle will "likely lic. it" The very next day there it is, back on KIJIJI in Sudbury "FOR SALE" for almost double" the price paid!!!! Nothing I can do about it, he bought it for the reduced price but the "UNCLE" story was total B S & he knew he was going to "FLIP IT" without having to pay TAX on it thus the Don't fill out the transfer part. WELL never again will I do that, it gets filled out before anything leaves the d/way or we go to lic office "right now!!!! There I feel a little better!!!

Disappointing!    as I said to you, he did pay your price, and we all were excited to see a "car guy" getting a deal from a "car guy"..

I guess I watch too many Cdn - American pickers episodes..... wink

Ya, I got what I said I would take for it, no problem there!! It's the B S story & saying not to fill out the transfer that I fell for thinking he was "Le git" buyer not a FLIPPER!! Guess I'm really upset at my self for falling for it!!!

A co worker had the same issue except he was the guy buying from the flipper. He had the ownership signed by the previous owner- not the guy he bought it from. He gets to the license office and the girl wants to see the buyers package- which he didn't have. He buys it but still needs a signature on it. Turns out the vehicle was registered in Hamilton. Luckily the flipper lived here in town and after non stop harassing the flipper and camping out in his driveway until he got home from work the flipper relented and went to Hamilton, got a signature from the original seller, and transferred it into his name (co worker told him the MTO was very upset with him for curbsiding). The sad part about the whole thing is after all this he smoked a deer and wrote it off a week later!
I'll never buy a used vehicle, trailer etc unless the ownership is in the sellers name and he has the used car buyers package.

just reading this thread let me try to understand you had a car trailer for sale ? you sold it for more than you were willing to sell it for ? now the present owner is selling it again for more ? you sold it for more than you wanted whats the problem ? sellers remorse ?

Just because it's for sale for more money.... Doesn't mean he's going to get it. It's not the dollars your po'd about, it's that he wasn't straight up, and used the uncle story..... Hey... You got your asking price.
