Up for auction 1964 Pontiac Acadian Beaumont custom Convertible. This is one of only 367of this model built!! A VERY RARE CAR. Finished in Butternut yellow with a black roof and interior. This car has had a Complete professional Nut and Bolt Restoration finished in 1997. It has been Garaged in winters and driven lightly in summers only 14000 miles since restoration. It is equipped with a BALANCED 275 HP 327 cu in engine. Turbo 350 Auto transmission and 3:36 rear end gears VERY QUICK??. Also has Power Front disc brakes. Power Steering, Power Top with a glass window and front and rear heavy duty sway bars. This car runs and drives better than new. EVERYTHING WORKS PERFECTLY. This car comes with many extra parts including the original drive train (6 cyl 2 spd) and original radio, as well as original sales brochure and shop manual. Having British Columbia collector plates it is a great summer cruiser. I will be sad to see it go, but happy for the new owner as this car is a fun to drive and enjoy.
As with older restorations there is an issue or two, one paint chip by the drivers door handle (see picture) and a couple of very small repairs on the roof.
2F is silver blue metalic. It was put on some instead of FF. My 64 Chevelle has 2F. It is on the bottom of some paint chip charts for Canadian GM cars.
Poor door panels That's like committing murder!!!!!!! . Is the gas supposed to be body color?? And maybe just unwrap the steering wheel, I would rather see a cracked wheel underneath
