For some reason I always liked the style of that car. Richard Petty drove one.

Actually it is a Cutlass S. The Supreme had a waterfall type grille not the sloping style, plus the roof would be a formal one on the Supreme. The car looks the way I remember them many decades ago. Probably a 350 4-barrel, which would move the car well. It also could be a 260 Olds V8 or even a 455, though I'm doubting that.

A set of Olds Rally wheels would really set this car off. I'd add the rally's and a dual exhaust and that would be about it. Good price IMHO.

agreed, ive never seen rims on an olds that i liked better then the original style Rally wheels, mixing and matching on other makes is fine, but for some reason not on an olds,

I have a set of those I'd let go cheap, but they are a little rusty, missing a center cap and some of the trim, and oh yeah, they are only 14" ... biggrin

Too bad about the parcel shelf being cut for speakers, but I guess that's minor.  Nice car in a nice colour combo.

For those with A bodies 1973 -77 you will know that these cars come with a great  system that uses the vents that are also used for AC in cars so equipped. My LeMans has this feature.

I have enlarged a photo of this car for sale and it plainly says HEATER on the panel so I am not convinced it has AC.

AC or not.jpg

Below is a photo of my dash too, the untrained eye might think it has AC too by the vents but it does not.

Olds was pedalling the 260 V8 a lot back then, I'd be surprised if this strippo had the 350 and I'd bet $1,000 that there is no 455 under that hood. Regardless it is a nice car. Rat Boy is reserving comment on the price at this time.

Looks like an AC car. Was AC available with the 260? She'd be a gutless Cutlass with that combo!

From my experience the car is a deal    why?  because of the no mile rust free body (if it is)

The vents look correct for a/v  but it has no tinted glass

If you want a cruiser its a easy car to personalize

A 260 v8 can sound cool  and probably get some mileage

It needs some P275/60R-15 (B) and P255R60R-15 (f) to fill the giant fenderwells

Back in 1986, My first car was a 1975 Olds Cutlass S with the baby V8 260 2 barrel and I could get around 30 mpg on the highway with it, it was a great engine !

Seller needs more info, and engine pics. This would confirm engine size and if an air car.

No AC vents below steering column or glove box, nice car all the same and I agree needs the rally rims painted to match the car.

Ah. My mistake. I'm not as familiar with the later A bodies. The vent in that location on the 70-72's clearly indicated AC.

My post above didn't come out right Todd, sorry. Even the guy on Ultimate GTO wrote my car up as having A/C, most summer days I wish it did.

Looking at an interior shot of those cars, my eyes are trained to look for the presence of lap cooler vents under the steering column & glove box. Yes a/c was offered with all engines since the return of the a/c option with the 250 six for 1975.

A friends father owned a 77 Cutlass S coupe with a 350. It was a company car; silver with a silver vinyl roof and blue interior, plus blackwalls & dog dish caps. Having driven it when nearly new I can say that it would spin the right rear wheel as long as I cared to, even if it was 2 blocks.

Ya & I've hated that move ever since!!  Belmont Chev Olds, brings memorys, Dad bought a New 58 Olds 98 Holiday /StarFire htp there, when they were on the Danforth Ave just west of Main St. then they moved to the west end, on Lawrence & Weston area i think???? That was the start of a list of Oldsmobiles for Dad, always had new Nash's from the 1st I remember a 38 La Fayette then a 50 "bathtub" remember that one coming in the d/way when I was 2 1/2 last one was 54 2dr. htp. ambassador, cont. Kit, wire whls etc. Sharpe looking car in Grey & Chinese RED all were GUTLESS 6cyls.

Thanx for confirming that it isn't a Cutlass Supreme.  I has a Supreme when I was younger.  Different grill, different quarter windows and tailights.  Mine was the same color combo with a vinyl top,  Sure do miss that car.  Mine had buckets and console as well as A/C.  That one definitly needs some Olds Rally's
