Pontiac, Take 2

First car, My fix of my Grandfather's Grande Parisienne.

Looked good in pic but too far gone under.

Second one, 25 years later, that estate sale one you guys posted about.

Bought it after auction.

One family car, unmodified except those 79 Monte spoked hubcaps (spokes for sale !)

Plan to put the original cop hubs back on.

Thought they only came on lower models.

Think I still have 2 sets of the 69 Pontiac taget caps somewhere.

Thanks for the site !

Welcome Muttwood,

The Grande looks bad, and the Parisienne makes me cry. Very nice.

More shots asap of the Parisienne please.

14x10 Cragars on the Grande ! With the centres painted.
Still have a steel grill hanging on my shop wall.(Grande Parisienne,Bonneville) It will stay there, I'll leave the convertible original.
you shouldn't cry, but there are some bubles on the quarters that made me cry.
I was told of a body man in London,ON who loves to work on 60s cars. I'll be seeing him soon.
This car lived at the owner's cottage since 1969 with the exception of 2 years.
I had already stablized it and covered it.
Next week I'll bring her out and snap some more pics.
Maybe I'll drive my daughter to school in Ingersoll :)

Love the Grande, buddy had one just like it back in the 80s. And that convertible is sweet!

Both still require a lot of work.

Changed the Avatar to today's pic. I put the poverty caps on.(Not may like this look) When I pulled the Monte caps, I found red rims. This car was originally won in a 50c raffle, could this have been the only 69 convertible ordered with absolutely no other options. I have 10 of the caps like your's, which I like. I also had my brother search my mother's house. I'm sure I hung on to my Grande's fender skirts.

I have seen some like yours with the black. Mine do not have any paint on them.
I almost had a 2+2 in the 80s.
But the owner thought I would not take care of it.
He was probably right.

Nice car !

There is always something to be said about deep dish 5 spoke wheels.

This Bonneville looks smaller with big wheels.
